| October 2010 - Director of Photography Dave Bartlett travelled to San Antonio and Houston, Texas for a 4 day shoot for a Boston area energy company. Dave, along with Boston producer Heather Riley, visited the SAWS plant in San Antonio, a water treatment facility that is capturing methane gas and re-cycling it as energy. Then, after visiting a solar panel distribution center, the crew headed to Houston to visit a landfill facility that is also capturing methane and turning it into usable energy that powers a nearby Budweiser factory. The beautiful weather allowed for some great shots, and interesting smells. But, we did get to see The Alamo, for about 60 seconds while the taxi double parked...Kind of reminded me of Chevy Chase in "Vacation" when they visited the Grand Canyon! |
