Bartlett Television Productions Films Nightclub Security Video

April / May, 2004 - Excelsior Entertainment enlisted the help of Dave Bartlett and crew to create a 30 minute video that is designed to train security employees in the nightclub and bar business.

The video was actually shot with actors as if everything happening was real, even though it wasn't, to give it a "Cops" sort-of feel. All footage was shot at night in Rochester area nightclubs and bars. The "re-enactments" were meant to look real, and shot handheld with available light. The introductory segments were meant to look more like those seen on "Americas Most Wanted", and shot with a jib arm and stylized lighting. They were all shot early on a Sunday morning at a local bar, before it opened later that day.

Bartlett Television Productions also handled the edit of the production, which featured some animation sequences as well. Dave acted as assistant producer on the project as well as Director of Photography.
