November 2010 - Cinematographer Dave Bartlett traveled to Denver, Englewood, and Canon City, Colorado for a 3 day shoot for a Boston area energy company.  Dave, along with Boston producer Heather Riley, visited various solar panel installations, as well as a ranch where a wind farm is to be erected.  The first snow of the season came into Denver, but only just after after a beautiful day of shooting on top of roofs, and from a bucket truck.  The local Denver TV news was also there when Dave and Heather shot a ribbon cutting ceremony for the City of Englewood, as they put a solar array on top of a fire department on-line.  Colorado is one beautiful place.  One depressing thing, though...smog hanging over Denver (see picture).  But, hopefully the use of alternative energy will help to lower that.
