HDX900

A broadcast
workhorse, this 2/3rds inch HD camera is a favorite
of news networks, reality shows, cable programming
and those with high production demands. It
shoots to DVCPRO video tape, but combined with our
Nanoflash, it can shoot directly to files in the
XDCAM codec, for both Mac and Windows. Those files
can be transferred to a hard drive during or
after the shoot. It shoots both NTSC and PAL
standards, at 1080 and 720 resolutions, and 24p,
25p, 30p, 50i and 60i frame rates. Also does
SD when used with a Nanoflash. |

Nanoflash |
A
revolutionary device that allows any camera,
including the HDX900, to become a tape-less
camcorder. You can shoot in various bit-rates,
including standard XDCAM EX (like our Sony EX1) or
in XDCAM HD 422 at 50mbs, like the PDW-F800. Or even
higher at 100mbs, even better than DVCPRO-HD.
Also, it turns the HDX900 into a SDX900 or an SD
XDCAM, as it allows SD recording from the cameras
SD-SDI output, in either NTSC or PAL, 4:3 or 16:9.

EX1

The second most
popular HD camera and format (behind the HDX900)
the Sony EX1 has a small form factor and incredible
picture quality from 1/2inch CMOS chips. It records
directly to files that can be transfered to a hard
drive at the end of the shoot. It shoots both NTSC
and PAL standards, at 1080 and 720 resolutions, and
24p, 30p and 60i frame rates |

The Canon 60D, a DSLR that allows for beautiful soft
backgrounds for interviews and b-roll. A very
film-like image from an inexpensive camera.

An HD POV camera that can mount just about anywhere,
and produces incredible shots that weren't possible
before. Mount it to cars, to people, to the
top of a C-stand. Do time lapses, or get great
point-of-view footage. |

DVX100a |
When working on a budget, and HD isn't required,
DVX100a shoots to MiniDV videotape and can record in
a variety of frame rates including 24p, 30p and 60i,
as well as 4:3 and 16:9 anamorphic aspect ratios. |
